Synology no ip not updating
When finished, your Synology NAS now has a valid SSL Certificate from the Let’s Encrypt Authority X1, please note that the issued certificates are only valid for 90 days.
After that I think there will be an automatic renewal?
You need to configure DDNS if you want to access your Synology NAS DS713 on the internet without remembering your IP address.
Select the option “Get a certificate from Let’s Encrypt” en click on “Next” Now you can insert the correct domain names you are going to use to connect to your DSM.This brings me back to the original issue of how I put an update client on and get it to update dynamic IP's on the router? You should be able to access your modem by using your browser with the default gateway address found in your router.Does anybody know of an update client particularly suited to the DS? This is how my system is setup - using the modem for the DDNS. I've been trying all day to solve this problem so I apologize if I say anything stupid.I’ve been using my Synology NAS with HTTPS enabled for a while now but with a self-signed certificate it wasn’t all that secure.Today I decided to try the new feature in DSM 6 Beta 2 for installing a SSL certificate to better secure my NAS.
